The last time Dan Olsen performed in the Faroe Islands was in 2015. Which is strange, considering his music has been played on local radio almost daily ever since.
On the radio his name is often pronounced in an anglicised way – “Dææn Oulsön” – perhaps because his sound fits seamlessly alongside the very best of international pop. But now he returns home, and here, we simply call him Dan Olsen.
