Greta Svabo Bech

Faroese Artist Greta Svabo Bech opened 2019 with 2 singles in February, and an EP March 1st. Her first single “All My Bones” went through a quarter of a million streams in the first week, and sees Greta exploring darker electronic territories, creating the perfect world for her trademark honeyed vocals to inhabit.

2019 sees Greta further spread her roots in the electronic music world, where her work with Deadmau5, The Bloody Beetroots and Ludovico Einaudi, have seen her exceed 150 million streams, Displaying a unique breadth of talent and reach.

As an Artist Greta paints a sound and visual of life in the Faroe Islands, creating a striking and ethereal aesthetic. Writing and Producing her music, documenting her remote word with stunning infrared photography. She captures both a sense of beautiful space and dark isolation in her art.

“The music started with this visual and has evolved into something that is a perfect juxtaposition between the darkness and the beauty of the Faroe islands. Raw emotion inside electronic landscapes”

We’re very excited to welcome this unique Faroese Artist back to G! and her continued evolution as an Artist who shines a wonderful light upon the Faroe Islands. When Greta sings, the world listens.
