We are delighted to announce Teitur will return to G! Festival 2018. In advance of this, the seminal Faroese Artist will release his first solo album in 5 years. The soon released album was recorded in New York, with Thomas Bartlett aka Doveman producing, known for his work with Sufjan Stevens, Martha Wainwright and Glen Hansard; at the legendary Reservoir Studios, where Bowie & Lou Reed recorded. The all star team is completed with mixing by Grammy award winning engineer Patrick Dillett, known for his work with David Byrne and Nile Rodgers.

At G! 2017 Teitur performed his first album “Poetry and Aeroplanes” in full, on the sand.  These first simple yet sincere songs became a critical hit, and a college radio and Triple A Radio staple in the US. Paving the way for a both colourful and protracted musical output. We now very much look forward to the new album, and the next chapter from this prodigious Faroese talent, as we prepare the Beach for another memorable appearance from him.

“Teitur is the sound of melting ice, haunted woods, and beautiful honesty” KT Tunstall

“Music like this is jet fuel on the fire of a broken heart.” John Mayer

“…Never less than extraordinary” The Guardian
