Five artists added to the lineup

'No one sounds like Priya Ragu', with her unique, genre-blurring raguwavy sound and a voice that blends eloquence, majesty and attitude in equal measure. Her boundary-pushing take on R&B and electro-pop is infused with sonic elements that reflect her South Asian background. As shown by her critically adored debut mixtape ‘damnshestamil’, it’s an approach that makes her a truly global proposition. Every aspect of Priya’s profile indicates that she’s set to be one of the hottest breaking artists for 2022.

The budding band SONS is making a name for itself nationally and internationally as it leaves a trail of ‘what the hell was that?’ behind. Explosive energy rips the air apart. They are burning hearts into the souls of their fans. SONS band wants to challenge the world and themselves. No holds barred, pedal to the freakin’ metal! with their Sledgehammer songs and fast-paced guitars. The world is at their feet.

“If you have a vacancy for Favourite New Band, Pom Poko would like to apply for the role,” tweeted Tim Burgess in April last year, as Norway’s finest punk-pop anti-conformists, revisited their joyous debut album, Birthday, for one of Tim’s mood-lifting Twitter listening parties. Pom Poko pimps their CV on all fronts with their glorious second album, Cheater, released on Bella Union in January 2021. Between the quartet’s sweet melodies, galvanic punky ructions and wild-at-art-rock eruptions, Cheater is the sound of a band celebrating the binding extremes that make them so uniquely qualified to thrill: and, like Tim’s listening party, to fulfil any need you might have for a pick-you-up.

SUCHI is an Oslo-born, London-bred, and Delhi-influenced DJ and producer. She hosts a monthly residency on Delhi-based radio station Boxout.fm with her show ’Through The Smog’ and is part of the South Asian collective, Daytimers.

As a DJ, her selections combine the right touch of percussive drums, Indian disco, 90s prog house, UK breaks, trance, electro, and techno. A genre-blending approach that comes from her close links to local producers based in all three of her hometowns. Her mission to place South Asian producers on the map is prominent throughout her sets and mixes, including her Boiler Room debut alongside Daytimers.

Meet the breath of fresh air to the heavy and dark Faroese music scene. TeleMama took part in the annual music competition, Sement, in 2021. They sought to bring an upbeat style of Indie Rock to the stage. Their sound is inspired by household names like Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, and more recent outfits like Her's, Mac DeMarco, and Boy Pablo.

Our exciting lineup so far includes José González, Ásgeir, Eivør, Tessa, Daði Freyr, The Jillionaire, Carlene Carter, Marius Ziska, Joe & The Shitboys, Le Fleur, Skatebård, Lea Kampmann, Marianna Winter, Gaye Su Akyol, Iotunn, Katla, Horrse and Giddygang & Vuyo with many more to be announced!
