Bolstad - Gritty Faroese rap

Bolstad truly made his mark when he performed at Sement and was broadcasted on live television.

Here was a rapper whose words flowed with exceptional ease. His style is gritty and raw, with absolutely no attempt to please the mainstream by making it pop-friendly.

The lyrics are socially critical, and he isn’t afraid to tackle topics that are often left unspoken in the Faroe Islands. The style is old-school, but no one has ever rapped like Bolstad on these islands.
