Triple Grammy Winner Coming to the G! Festival

We’re thrilled to announce one of the most exciting artists ever to join the G! Festival lineup: the American powerhouse Fantastic Negrito.

He first broke through in 2015 when he won the inaugural NPR Tiny Desk Contest. Since then, he’s taken home three Grammy Awards for the albums The Last Days of Oakland, Please Don't Be Dead, and Have You Lost Your Mind Yet?

Fantastic Negrito’s story is a true phoenix tale. A rough upbringing, a hard life, and an uncertain future—yet he rose from singing on street corners for spare change to reaching the very top of the musical world. He’s a magnetic performer, a once-in-a-generation singer, and an artist redefining American roots music for the modern age.

This summer, he’ll take the stage at Gøtusandur when the G! Festival returns from 16–18 July 2026.
And remember: you can still save 700 kr if you buy your ticket before Christmas—definitely worth it.

This is something you have to see and experience!
