KALEO is set to ignite the sands of Gøta!

Today, the Icelandic band KALEO is a globally recognized name, but their journey with G! Festival began humbly. Back in 2014, they performed at a small playground in Gøta.

At the time, they were relatively unknown—but that changed dramatically two years later when they exploded onto the international music scene with their breakthrough album A/B. Most of us have heard their global smash hit “Way Down We Go,” which catapulted them to fame.

Since then, their career has skyrocketed: over 4 billion streams, a GRAMMY nomination, opening for The Rolling Stones, and unforgettable performances at major festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza.

KALEO is also celebrated for their stunning live videos, filmed against the breathtaking backdrop of Icelandic nature. If you haven’t yet, we highly recommend checking them out on YouTube for a taste of their magic.

We are thrilled to welcome KALEO back to G! Festival, taking place from July 17th–19th, 2025. The unique setting of Gøta’s sandy shores is the perfect match for KALEO’s soul-stirring music and unparalleled energy.

This is an experience you simply can’t miss—be there!
