Ragnar Finsson performs at G!

From the annual music competition Sement: Ragnar Finsson

“G! Festival is thrilled we have heard so much great new Faroese music again this year. And we want to thank Sement for encouraging people to write new material and to perform it publicly”. With those words the G! Festival invited a participant from Sement to perform at G! 2024:

One who showed great presence on stage.

One who managed to have a human conversation with a machine.

One who is named ... Ragnar Finsson.

Ragnar Finsson had a one-man band performance with an electric guitar, an MPC, a small radio speaker, and the book: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Lyrics about existential matters and melodies blending American and Irish folk elements with modern pop. An extraordinary talent that truly deserves your ear and your time.
