Bring the children to G!

G! is a party for children too! The best day of the year!

The children’s programme takes place at the playground, with a full schedule from 12:50 to 15:15. Children aged 12 and under enter G! for free when accompanied by an adult.

On Stage

  • 12:50 – Angela and Rógvi welcome everyone
  • 13:00 – Neytakonurnar, musical theatre
  • 13:30 – Rógvi the Magician
  • 14:00 – Angela and Hannibal, family entertainment
  • 14:30 – Bjöllurnar, five brass musicians performing a concert of beloved children’s songs
  • 15:00 – Angela welcomes Erkki & Iikka – two violinists from Finland playing dance music at the playground
  • 15:15 – End of Barna G!

At the Playground

13:00–15:00

  • Come and taste the popular “potato swirls” from Irdi in Skopun
  • Face painting
  • Bubble workshop
  • Creative corner – paint your own stones

This is all happening on Saturday 19th July. We look forward to seeing you at Barna G!

Breakfast for Festivalgoers

At the stadium in Norðragöta and on the lower floor of Valhöll in Syðrugöta, breakfast will be served from 10 AM to 1 PM on Friday and Saturday mornings. Read more »
