Aggrasoppar joins the line-up!

Everywhere they go, they spark great interest.

Probably the greatest feature in Faroese music export at the moment is the band Aggrasoppar. They performed a secret concert at G! in 2023, but it was no more secret than that they ended up signing a contract with a booking agency in France, Voulez Vous Danser. Everywhere they go, they spark great interest. Quite remarkable when you consider they rap and sing in Faroese, with strange lyrics. But indeed, their performance is so captivating that it transcends linguistic boundaries. And they also play damn well on stage - it's breathtaking. It's inappropriate and great at the same time. For the FMA (local Grammy), they are nominated for "album of the year", in addition to Eyðfinnur Bogason Lamhauge being nominated as "composer of the year", and as we mentioned in the news article earlier this week, Dania O. Tausen is nominated for almost all the other FMAs this year.
