Jógvan joins G! line-up

This will be a moment where we give the mic to the troubles of the soul. We will listen as Jógvan tells his story.

Jógvan is nominated for the FMA (local Grammy) for "album of the year" with "Tögn". A lyrically and musically very complete and well-rounded release, which addresses the bitter beauty of life.

Silence, longing, abuse, and love. All big topics addressed through lyrics and given life through music, crafted by the heavy steps of the Faroese chain dance, roaring seas, brass band percussion, strings, piano, and most importantly, a very expressive Jógvan.

This will be a moment where we give the mic to the troubles of the soul. We will listen as Jógvan tells his story.

Seven artists and bands will be added to G!'s lineup during this week, adding to the list of previously announced Faroese names: Elinborg, Alias Morera, Hamferð, Dania, Einangran, Knút, and Eivør.

Follow us as we announce a new exciting Faroese music name daily. Tickets are available for purchase at gfestival.fo.
