Celebrating the annual Faroese Music Week at G!

Once again G! is here to celebrate the annual Faroese Music Week.

Foreign names of artists and bands dominate the local conversation throughout the year, but this week we only focus on Faroese names.

Local acts play a crucial role in shaping the festival programme, always providing us with unforgettable moments.

Some are young, others are established. Some play mostly abroad while others mainly play shows around these familiar islands.

Each bird sings according to its own beak, and we take pride in them all. There is truly a vast and rich music scene to be found on The Faroe Islands.

Seven artists and bands will be added to G!'s lineup during this week, adding to the list of previously announced Faroese names: Einangran, Knút, and Eivør.

Follow us as we announce a new exciting Faroese music name daily. Tickets are available for purchase at gfestival.fo.
