Bus and Taxi Information

If you are staying elsewhere in the Faroe Islands and suddenly wish you were at G! with all the cool people, don't panic. You've got options.

If you're not staying in one of the villages that comprise Gøta, but still want to participate in the festival, you have two options.

Bil Taxi is servicing the festival every day. Just call 323232 (+298 323232 for foreign numbers) to ask for a ride to or from the festival.

The bus is also an option. During the day, the regular Faroese bus service can get you very close to the festival if you get off in Gøta. For those who want to stay late and shut the party down, the Taxi Vestmanna nightbus is running between Torshavn, Vestmanna and Gøta the next two nights.

Friday Night:
From Gøta to Torshavn at 04:00 from the campground

Saturday Night:
From Gøta to Torshavn at 04:00 from the campground

Telephone number for the nightbus: 217752
150kr per person.
