The Stars Descend upon the Islands for Music and Adventure

Condé Nast Names G! in "50 things to do in Europe before you die"

Recently, the G! Festival made Condé Nast’s list of “50 Things to Do in Europe Before You Die.” Such interest is no longer unusual. The foreign media has become more and more fascinated by the G! Festival, and the Faroe Islands themselves.

With a readership of 160 million and a wide variety of media platforms, Condé Nast is – if not the biggest – unquestionably one of the world’s largest media platforms. To have reached so far, from our small islands, is exciting for the Faroes as well as for G!

The G! Festival, like Faroese cuisine, is always a fascinating mixture between old and new, fresh and fermented. This year, renowned musicians like Kris Kristofferson and Alphaville will take the stage, alongside some of the biggest and freshest names in Pop, from Mø to Bilderbuch.

MØ has never been to the Faroes before, and she is very much looking forward to experiencing the islands around her performance here.

MØ has a world wide tour schedule, and has won just about every honour her home country can award. Her song Lean On, together with Major Lazer, has 2 billion plays on YouTube, while her Final Song has been played 260 million times on Spotify.
