Erkki Virkkala & Iikka Huntus at G!

Every year, G! Festival is lucky to welcome a special act in collaboration with Fólkatónleikarastevnan—the annual Faroese travelling folk music festival—and this year is no exception.

From Finland come violin virtuosos Erkki Virkkala and Iikka Huntus, bringing joyful energy and dazzling skill. Their bows dance across the strings so fast, it’s as if sparks are flying! A true treat for anyone who loves music.

We’re also excited to announce that they’ll perform at the children’s program on Saturday.
Children have free entry to G! when accompanied by an adult—so bring the whole family and experience these masters in action during the festival, July 17–19, 2025.
