In collaboration with G!, FIMFF will be screening the brand new documentary Teaches of Peaches.

The film chronicles the life and career of Canadian musician Merrill Nisker better known as Peaches. Filmed during her 2022 anniversary tour for the album The Teaches of Peaches, the documentary blends exclusive archival footage with dynamic tour scenes to showcase her transformative journey. The film highlights Peaches' provocative performances and significant influence on feminist and LGBTQ+ movements, cementing her status as a cultural icon.

 

FIMFF / Faroe Islands International Minority Film Festival:

The goal of the film festival is to create a more tolerant, understanding, and inclusive society by showcasing diversity through film and conversations. The festival educates and unites people by highlighting diversity in gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, and culture.
