The G! festival has always worked closely with the annual folk-music scene in the Faroe Islands. This year, the majority of the folk music acts on the schedule take place tonight in the cozy Fjós, or Barn -- one of G!'s more unusual stages.

In the afternoon, we'll have a folkdance workshop at 17:00, for which Sharon Weiss and Kristian Blak will play. Your new skills will come in handy later in the evening, when there will be a dance to the music of Spælimennirnir, who are performing on the playground (Spælipláss) at 2:10 in the morning.

The schedule in the Barn (Fjós) this evening is chock-full of diverse artists who are going to fill the warm room with lively tunes. It will be a perfect place to hang out and take shelter from the rain!

Among those who will play tonight are Anna Fält, Kollslíð & Sverrisson, Óli á Grindafløtti & Heðin Ziska Davidsen, Holgar, Uni Debess, and Janus & the Crowberry Band.
