G! Festival announcing: Highasakite (NO)

We are thrilled to announce one of this years headliners: Highasakite from Norway.

G! Festival announcing: Highasakite (NO)

They are one of the most respected bands in their home country, where they have been headlining all the biggest festivals for years.

They've been playing for 14 years and have achieved what very few manage to do. After becoming world famous with their hit single "Golden Ticket", they have continued their hard work and have become giants on the Scandinavian live scene, constantly improving and growing.

And their popularity seems to keep reaching new hights: Earlier this month they announced a tour around Norway which was sold out after only a few minutes. The extra shows are almost sold out as well, bringing the total amount of shows up to an astounding 20 shows around Norway. And this is all happening without playing the five largest cities.

Their sound can be described as luscious indie pop. Fronting the band is Ingrid Helene Håvik, who possesses the gift to weave true emotion into the songs, and to make them glow from the stage through the music.

This will be no ordinary concert. Highasakite delivers an unusually grand performance, and we truly expect this to be one of the most captivating shows ever to be held on Faroese ground.

You can start to look forward to this! One of the greatest live bands from Norway will perform on the beach in Göta!
