Faroe Islands International Minority Film Festival (FIMFF)

From the 23rd to the 27th of July Faroe Islands International Minority Film Festival (FIMFF)
will take place for the fifth time since its inception. Like previous years the film festival is
made possible thanks to a collaboration with the Nordic House and the Faroese Film
Institute and will again this year be hosted at Perlan and Reinsaríið. FIMFF’s target
audiences are minorities prone to experience discrimination based on for instance their
gender, sexuality, ethnicity, race, belief system, and/or culture, as well as everyone else
with an interest to learn more about minority issues from minority perspectives. Because
we are celebrating FIMFF’s five-year anniversary the festival crew will be participating at
the G! festival this summer, where they will screen high quality shorts which have been
screened previous years as well as a few new ones. It will also be possible to purchase a
FIMFF 2021 festival pass.
