Statement from José González

José González, unfortunately, had to cancel this year's performance, but we are very happy to invite him back next year, where we hopefully can expect more normal circumstances.

José has many fans in the Faroe Islands, who were looking forward to experiencing him at our festival, but we hope that you can find some comfort in that he will be here next year. José has written a statement for our Faroese fans.

”I am very sorry I have to cancel this year's performance at G! Festival. The logistics combined with the state of the world for the moment and the fact that me and my partner are expecting our second child in the period leading up to the festival made it practically impossible to go through with this. I was really looking forward to be performing in Faroe Island, a place I´ve never visited. I am back next year, looking forward to see you then!”

This week we'll announce his replacement and many other great artists on our Line Up, stay tuned and thank you for understanding.
