Exciting times at G! Festival

Preparations for G! Festival 2020 are well underway. The festival has several announcements in the pipeline which are being revealed in the nearest future.

The first bit of news is the appointing of Michael A. C. Johannesen as new music booker. Michael has been running the street-wear shop Útilív the last couple of years, is a music producer and is very active in the DJ environment.

Michael is no stranger to G!. He’s been running the stage “Grundin” at the festival for the last two years. As the new music booker, he’ll now have more stages to work with. About this new opportunity, Michael says: “I’m excited and am looking forward to the challenge, and to continue the work that Fred has done. G! is something unique, it’ll always be unique, and I’m looking forward to announce the first artists for G! 2020.”

The new music booker will work closely with Fróði Tórálvsson Stenberg, who has been handling the festival’s international relations, and is now also managing PR, marketing and logistics. Completing the G! working party are Kristfríð Tyril, main co-ordinator, and Sigvør Laksá, director.

More info will follow soon.
