The Arrow Houses in Norðagøta - The Secret Faroese Village
A scattering of tiny homes has appeared by the shore in Gøta...
Local Faroese artist Tummas Jákup Thomsen has created an outdoor art installation at G! this year. Go explore a seaside village in miniature!
The art work is a part of the event "Always Coming Home," for which local publisher Eksil and The Laboratory of Aesthetics and Ecology out of Denmark have brought an array of people from many countries together to explore the concepts of home, ancestry, family and kinship. Inspired by American writer Ursula K. Le Guin (1929-2018), the art program will use panels, exhibitions, workshops, and performances to "explore modest hope and situated regenerative practices staying with the im/possibilities of being able to always be coming home."
