Poetry in the Village - A Poetic Tour of Gøta

As part of our cultural offerings, LabORÐatoriið will present Faroese poetry between 15:00 and 16:30.

Before the concerts start on the beach, our poets invite you to a poetic tour of Syðrugøta, where there will be readings on balconies, on stone steps and under clotheslines. In case of bad weather, we will duck into the local homes.

The tour begins Úti í Grógv at Ranvør and Páll's place. Two poets will read at each stop for about 10 minutes each.

The schedule:

15:00 - Gróvargøta 9, Ranvør and Páll's house: Marjun Syderbø Kjælnes and Arnbjørn Dalsgarð.

15:30 - Gróvargøta 8, Rønn and Pól's house: Kim Simonsen and Sissal Kampmann

16:00 - Úti í Bø 14, Vónbjørt and Kim's house: Lív Maria Róadóttir Jæger and Anna Malan Jógvansdóttir
