Wishing Irah a Speedy Recovery – Welcome, Marius DC

Unfortunately, we have to share some unexpected news.

Due to a serious medical emergency, Irah has had to undergo emergency surgery and, following his doctors' advice, is unable to fly for the next four weeks. This means he will not be able to perform at G! Festival 2026.
We are deeply saddened by this news. Health always comes first, and we send Irah our warmest wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

We have been in close dialogue with Irah's team, and we hope to welcome him to G! Festival in 2027 instead. We will share more information about that as soon as everything is confirmed.

Stepping into the programme at short notice is one of the Faroese scene's most exciting new names, Marius DC.
With his distinctive blend of hip hop, R&B and alternative pop, Marius DC has quickly built a reputation as one of the most promising young artists in the Faroe Islands. We're grateful that he was able to step in at such short notice, and we're looking forward to welcoming him to the G! stage this July.

This has been an emotional few weeks for the festival following the heartbreaking loss of our headliner Oliver Tree, but one thing has become even clearer: festivals are about people coming together and supporting one another. We look forward to sharing that feeling with all of you on the beach in Syðrugøta in just a few weeks.

Please join us in wishing Irah a full recovery — and in giving Marius DC a warm G! welcome.
