This year’s cultural debate takes its starting point in hey :) THE METAMODERNIST DOOMSDAY MANIFESTO ANNO DOMINI 2025 by Trygvi Danielsen. With reflections on the importance of hope and utopia in a world that - like the doomsday manifesto - is flooded with dystopian narratives, we explore a countermovement in the arts that calls for new stories and insists on holding on to hope and visions of utopia. Young people – including Vón Holm Magnadóttir and Sophilia Wraae Mukisa - review and challenge Trygvi Danielsen in a conversation led and joined by Sissal Kampmann.
