SILVITNI

Silvitni is a women's choir that was founded in Gøta in September 2021.

At that time, eight women set out to sing beautiful and challenging choral music together, covering all kinds of time periods and cultures. The conductor is Cinthia Gonzáléz Parada, who is originally from Chile. The choir now includes ten members from various regions and islands in the Faroe Islands: from Kalsoy, Eysturoy, and Streymoy to Vágar.

All the singers have extensive experience in choirs both in the Faroe Islands and abroad, and they represent three different nationalities – the Faroe Islands, Germany, and Chile. They will be performing in the church at Fjósið on Saturday morning.
