Marius Ziska (FO)

Marius Ziska has been one of the best songwriters in the Faroe Island for the last two decades, something that really showed, when the band played three sold out shows with The Faroese Symphony Orchestra this February. He had his debut at the G! Festival as a teenager in punk rock act Flux, but has over the years gradually moved towards a much more melodic sound. He got his major breakthrough on the Faroe Islands in 2015 with the album "Home/Heim" a vinyl with Faroese lyrics on one side, and English lyrics on the other. The abum was released in Denmark and Germany to great reviews, opening the door for extensive touring aroung Europe. His follow up album Portur got a great reception gaining lots of airplay in the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Denmark. Marius Ziska has been compared to artists like Bon Iver and Chris Martin. The band is a tightly knit unit off some of the best Faroese musicians. On Friday 10. March he'll release his newest album "Rúm"
