Icelandic electronic dream-pop trio Vok join us in the Faroe Islands for the first time at G! 2019. The band has toured extensively through Europe on the back of their critically acclaimed albums “in the dark” 2019 and “Figure” 2017. 

Their latest In The Dark is an eleven track collection written and recorded in collaboration with UK producer James Earp (Bipolar Sunshine, Fickle Friends, Lewis Capaldi). The LP sees Vök exploring their pop space, creating their most immediate sounding and most accessible album yet. 

Vök, named after the Icelandic word for “hole in the ice,” are a band of innovators with smart, atmospheric jams. 

Described by Noisey as “Channelling the Beach soundtrack via 1980’s synth pop with the modern sexiness of The Knife” we can’t imagine a better act to take us on their sonic journey on the sands of Sydrugota this summer.
