We are delighted to welcome Týr back for G! 2019! The most successful Faroese metal band stand at the vanguard of Scandinavian Metal. Now with a career spanning two decades, and seven full length albums, with their eighth set for release this spring. The bands trail blacking mixture of old Faroese ballads, heavy metal and progressive song writing has won them a global fan base. This revival of the ballads has seen Faroese culture transported abroad to international audiences, and connected the world to the Faroe Islands in the most symbiotic manner.
