Elinborg hails from a rich Faroese musical heritage with elder sister Eivor. Born and raised in the Faroe Islands in Syðrugöta, the home of G! Festival, she is the product of a very musical environment. In 2015 she released her first EP with four songs in her native language. Elinborg is a regular on the live circuit around the Faroe Islands, and won Best Live Act Of The Year, at the Faroese Music Awards (FMA) in 2016.

2017 saw Elinborg release a new album and Vinyl feautring an all star cast of Faroese musicians Høgni Lisberg, Allan Tausen and Hans Marius Ziska.
